Tamarind Camp is a safari camp located 52 miles, 1 hour from Arusha, just 15 minutes from the entrance to Tarangire National Park. Perfectly positioned in a grove of beautiful Acacia Tortilis trees and recently completely renewed, the camp is set in 200 acres of Acacia woodland and bush, which is constantly evolving into an ever more stunning setting, right on the boundary of the Park.
The tented accommodation is luxuriously comfortable and spacious with en-suite bathrooms and exquisite handcrafted hardwood furnishings.
The tents are extremely well spread out and mostly face the adjacent Park boundary, marked only by a tree-lined sand river.
Zebra and wildebeest are often to be seen grazing on the nearby plains and elephant and lion frequent the area around camp, as well as being regular visitors inside the camp itself.
There are 10 double and twin Larsen tents. The Larsen tent is the largest tent available for safari camping.
